Dr. John Lin received his bachelor’s degree with highest honors in Biophysics at University of California at Berkeley in 1985. While at UCB, he was a Chancellor’s Scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He attended the UCLA School of Medicine from 1985 to 1989. Following medical school, he spent a year of internship in internal medicine at Olive View-UCLA County Hospital/Sepulveda Veterans Administration Hospital. Subsequently, he completed both his diagnostic radiology residency and clinical fellowship in abdominal/cross-sectional imaging at UCLA-Center for Health Sciences in 1995.

In addition to Dr. Lin’s expertise in diagnostic and abdominal imaging, he has broad experience in cross-sectional image guided interventions, mammography, and breast biopsies. Dr. Lin has been a member of the diagnostic imaging staff at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center since he finished his fellowship training in 1995.

John Lin, M.D. has previously served as Chairman of the Diagnostic Imaging department at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, and Los Angeles Radiologic Society.
