Dr. Tran grew up in Southern California before moving to the Northeast to complete his undergraduate and medical education at Brown University Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME) in Providence, Rhode Island from 1992 to 2000. His medical training includes a year of work in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his radiology residency training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, New York from 2001 to 2005. Dr. Tran returned to California in 2005 to continue his training as a neuroradiology fellow at University of Southern California (USC).
In addition to Dr. Tran’s expertise in neuroimaging, he has experience with fluoroscopic and CT guided pain management including joint injections, epidural injections and facet blocks. He has also completed training in Level II Cardiac CT Angiography.
Dr. Tran is a member of numerous societies including the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, Los Angeles Radiological Society, and the New York Roentgen Society.
