Dr. Olga Lyass was recruited to RIMA from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She has a unique background that gives her a particularly strong background for supervising and interpreting nuclear medicine and PET oncologic imaging and theraphy.
Dr. Lyass obtained her medical degree from Moscow Medical Academy in 1988. Upon graduation she completed two year residency program in Internal Medicine also in Moscow.
In 1990, Dr. Lyass relocated with her family to Israel. While in Israel, Dr. Lyass continued on at Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center for her residency training in Medical Oncology and Radiation Treatment.
In 2000, Dr. Lyass moved with her family to California where she completed a residency training in Nuclear Medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Following her residency she did an additional fellowship in PET-CT at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Lyass is an active member in the Society of Nuclear Medicine.
